Testimonial

"CADman Architectural Design Ltd has over the last decade engaged Markplan to provide engineering design services for a larger number of residential & small commercial projects.

The scope of this work has varied considerably from designing retaining walls, concrete slabs & foundations, lintels, point load beams, truss designs, bracing requirements, steel portals, concrete beams and precast panels, H1 compliancee and storm water retention systems.

The documentation provided has always been first class, designed logically clearly thought through and accurately drawn. It is refreshing to deal with people whose approach to design, detailing and documentation meets our needs and expectations.

Markplan's approach does not vary between clients proposing a small alteration or those planning a large multi-storey building project. We have always found Markplan staff friendly and obliging to deal with.

It is with complete confidence that I can highly recommend Markplan Consulting Ltd to our clients knowing that our projects will be dealt with in an efficient and professional manner." - Murray Hird (NZCD Arch) ADNZ professional. CADman Architectural Design Ltd.

FEATURE PROJECT - WHAT SOME OF THE MARKPLAN TEAM GOT UP TO DURING THE HOLIDAY BREAK

james bungy James’ 2011 year was wrapped up circumnavigating the South Island over the Christmas break with his partner Liz and their camper van – a highlight would have to be the Nevis Bungy in Queenstown.
This proof would not stand up in court James.  Photo obviously taken from a publicity shot – James would only do this if you paid him lots of money (bids currently being taken on TradeMe).
Glen’s restored Townson 26 made it into the water at the end of last year.  Here’s a photo of Glen and his son Henry enjoying a sail on Boxing Day.
There’s no doubt about who’s Captain here, but have you ever tried executing a nappy change on a rocking vessel when the little skipper ‘s wearing a life jacket?

Clive enjoyed a successful day at the boxing day races in Ellerslie before heading off to the Coromandel for some kayaking and fishing (albeit in the rain) between Christmas and the New Year. He then headed north to relax for a few days at his recently bought bach in Tutukaka and enjoy some rare sunshine!!Clive holiday house
Ah ha!... a successful day at the races, eh Clive?…so you owe us a shout, what!

Mark & Cheryl, together with their two girls and a group of family friends, went canoeing down the Wanganui River (in flood) during January.  Here are some of their pictures from that trip.

Mark remained like this for some time, his motorbiking knees locked in an uncustomary ballet plié.
